January in Junior Infants

During the month of January we have been very busy here in Junior Infants having fun and learning all about the farm, what jobs a farmer has to do and how he looks after his animals. We have also been pretending to be 'Farmers' and 'Vets' in the role play area, making sure all of the toy animals in our classroom are feeling okay. We built our very own farm sheds using blocks and lego and we even made some farm machinery using mobilo. Have a look!

Christmas in Killygarry

We are getting ready for Christmas in Junior Infants. We are practising every day for our Nativity performance. We have a Santa's workshop in the Aistear corner and we are making Christmas crafts with the creative box. And of course we are checking every day to see what Ernie Elf has been up to. He can be a silly fellow sometimes!

Fun in the snow!

Snow is just the best fun ever! We had great fun playing in it on the snowy day at school!

Christmas Shoe Box Appeal

Thank you to all the Junior Infants who kindly filled shoe boxes with lovely presents for less-fortunate girls and boys. They are now on their way to Africa and Eastern Europe.
